The Winner of Outdora’s Big Green Egg Recipe Contest!
Congratulations to Mike Beaulieu, from Hamlin, Maine for winning Outdora’s original Big Green Egg recipe Contest. Mike’s Philly Cheese Hanger Steak Crepes received the most votes from our readers. A couple of years ago, a friend of Richard Howe’s who owns a BBQ joint gave him the legs and wings of four barbecued turkeys. As a result of that exchange, Richard came up with this original of Turkey gumbo concoction. Richard is a bona fide Egghead. He bought his first Kamado-style grill in SE Asia in the 60s. Richard currently lives in Melbourne, FL along with his four Big Green Eggs and a database that Eggceeds 100 Big Green Egg recipes.

Oriental Chicken Drumettes
Well you can use whatever part of the chicken you choose actually but I prefer Drumettes! You know, the small fleshy part of a chicken wing, often fried and served as an appetizer. [drum(stick) + -ette.] To make this recipe you have to spend a whopping five minutes preparing a simple marinade which is cheap and easy to prepare. When cooked you can eat them ‘as is’ or dip them in your favorite dipping sauce, hot, garlic, whatever you prefer.
